Nos dias 5 e 6 de março de 2024, a FAJUB participou no 6.º evento do projeto FutureUp, em Veneza. O evento apresentou uma série de atividades envolventes destinadas a promover o diálogo, colaboração e envolvimento comunitário. O ponto alto do evento foi um Painel de Discussão Inter-religioso realizado no histórico Palácio do Governo, onde representantes de várias religiões se reuniram para explorar temas de unidade, tolerância e entendimento numa Europa diversificada. Os participantes desfrutaram de um passeio guiado pela cidade, incluindo visitas a marcos icónicos como o Palácio Ducal e vários museus, mergulhando na rica herança cultural de Veneza.

Um aspecto-chave do evento foi o envolvimento comunitário, com os participantes a interagirem com estudantes universitários para trocar ideias, partilhar experiências e criar redes para futuras colaborações. A exposição interativa intitulada “Um Mundo de Potencial” proporcionou uma plataforma para os participantes explorarem soluções inovadoras para desafios sociais prementes, destacando a criatividade e engenho da próxima geração de líderes europeus.

Outro componente significativo do evento foi o Painel de Discussão e Workshop sobre Direitos Individuais, realizado na Casa da Rede de Segurança Humana – Social Impact HUB. Os participantes envolveram-se em discussões instigantes sobre temas relacionados com direitos humanos, igualdade e justiça social, reafirmando o seu compromisso em defender as liberdades fundamentais na Europa.

O evento concluiu com uma nota positiva com um Concerto de Impacto Social e Cocktail na Casa da Rede de Segurança Humana – Illy Café, onde os participantes celebraram a sua visão partilhada de um futuro mais inclusivo e equitativo.

On 5th and 6th of March 2024, FAJUB attended the 6th event of FutureUp project, in Venice. The event showcased a series of engaging activities aimed at fostering dialogue, collaboration, and community engagement. The highlight of the event was an Interreligious Panel Discussion held at the historic City Hall, where representatives from various faiths came together to explore themes of unity, tolerance, and understanding in a diverse Europe. Participants were treated to a guided tour of the city, including visits to iconic landmarks such as the Doge’s Palace and several museums, immersing them in the rich cultural heritage of Venice.

A key aspect of the event was community engagement, with participants interacting with university students to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build networks for future collaboration. The interactive exhibition titled “A World of Potential” provided a platform for attendees to explore innovative solutions to pressing societal challenges, highlighting the creativity and ingenuity of the next generation of European leaders.

Another significant component of the event was the Individual Rights Panel Discussion and Workshop, hosted at the Home of The Human Safety Net – Social Impact HUB. Participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions on topics related to human rights, equality, and social justice, reaffirming their commitment to upholding fundamental freedoms in Europe.

The event concluded on a high note with a Social Impact Concert and Cocktail at the Home of The Human Safety Net – Illy Café, where participants celebrated their shared vision for a more inclusive and equitable future.
