Youth Exchange |  Erasmus+

Between 23 and 31 January 2023, 6 young Portuguese aged 19-31 years old participated in the Youth Exchange “No to Hate, Yes to Love” in Wermelkirchen. 

The project was attended by 7 participating countries (Latvia 🇱🇻, Hungary 🇭🇺, France🇫🇷,Bulgaria🇧🇬,Portugal🇵🇹,Turkey🇹🇷, Germany🇩🇪) in a total of 45 participants.

The project, which ended on 31 January, aimed at cultural exchange among the participants on the topic of Xenophobia, the different perspectives on the topic and the differences between countries were discussed. The consequences were discussed, as well as ways of acting to prevent Xenophobia both collectively and individually, how to confront and act towards xenophobic attitudes. 

All the learning of this project was achieved through non-formal education, dynamic group activities and exchange of information among the participants fostered by the participants.

Under the Erasmus + programme, these young people were able to gain experiences and create tools that will be very useful in the labour market and in the future life, both at personal and professional level.
