O projecto “Act Of Unity” foi um curso de formação de 6 dias que reuniu um total de 30 jovens trabalhadores, coordenadores, mentores e tutores de organizações parceiras na Arménia, em Junho de 2022.
O projecto “Act of Unity” foi concebido pela Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano e acolhido na Arménia pela Defender of Pedagogues Rights NGO, a fim de trazer resultados efectivos às necessidades das organizações participantes, com objectivos a atingir:
* Promover a cidadania activa e, em particular, projectos de voluntariado e solidariedade para os jovens das comunidades locais.
* Reforçar as capacidades dos trabalhadores juvenis na candidatura ao voluntariado e, em especial, a projectos de solidariedade no âmbito do Erasmus Plus e dos Fundos do Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade.
* Reconhecimento e utilização eficaz dos métodos NFE/INFORMAL para alcançar os jovens mais marginalizados ou com menos oportunidades e envolvê-los em projectos comunitários.
* Apoiar a criação de um forte conjunto de futuras parcerias entre as ONG participantes, reforçando a colaboração entre o programa e os países parceiros, incluindo a região do sul do Mediterrâneo.
* Reforçar a qualidade dos projectos de voluntariado e solidariedade através de um pequeno guia para os organizadores e de um encontro em linha pré-partida para as ONG.
Através do projecto, a organização candidata, juntamente com os 13 parceiros da Bielorrússia, Egipto, França, Geórgia, Letónia, Macedónia do Norte, Portugal, Eslovénia, Espanha, Turquia e Ucrânia, procurou enfrentar os principais desafios no seio das comunidades (especialmente as localizadas em zonas rurais, isoladas ou marginalizadas).
As visitas culturais aos famosos pontos turísticos arménios (Gerghard e Yerevan) permitiram que os participantes se aproximassem mais da beleza, tradições e história dos países anfitriões.
Algumas visitas locais com instituições locais arménias, tais como a ONG ambiental de Eghvard, a Escola de Artes Martuni, a visita do Vice-Governador da Província de Martuni, etc. tiveram um maior impacto na comunidade local e nos participantes, permitindo-nos aproximar-nos e reconhecer a importância do Trabalho Jovem realizado pelas ONG e autoridades locais.
Os parceiros do projecto tiveram também a oportunidade de apresentar a sua própria cultura e tradições. Cinco foram as noites dedicadas à exposição dos hábitos gastronómicos e culturais de todos os 13 parceiros do projecto.
Uma semana de memórias, alegria e interacção de qualidade entre parceiros, representantes das ONG, autoridades locais e ONG, visitas, actividades bem definidas e reuniões permitem ao parceiro internacional acenar aos seus condados com um maior desejo de iniciar novas colaborações europeias de qualidade.

The ‘Act Of Unity’ project was a 6-day training course bringing together a total of 30 youth workers, coordinators, mentors and tutors from partner organisations in Armenia in June 2022.
The Act of Unity project was designed by Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano and hosted in Armenia by Defender of Pedagogues Rights NGO in order to bring effective results to the needs of the participating organisations, with objectives to:
* Promoting active citizenship and in particular volunteering and solidarity projects for young people in local communities.
* Strengthening the capacities of youth workers in applying for volunteering and especially solidarity projects under Erasmus Plus and European Solidarity Corps Funds.
* Recognition and effective use of NFE/INFORMAL methods to reach the most marginalised young people or those with fewer opportunities and involve them in community projects.
* To support the creation of a strong pool of future partnerships between participating NGOs, strengthening collaboration between the programme and partner countries, including the Southern Mediterranean region.
* Strengthening the quality of volunteering and solidarity projects through a short guide for organisers and a pre-departure online meeting for NGOs.
Through the project, the applicant organisation together with the 13 partners from Belarus, Egypt, France, Georgia, Latvia, North Macedonia, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine sought to address the main challenges within communities (especially those located in rural, isolated or marginalised areas).
Cultural visits to Armenian famous sightseeing (Gerghard and Yerevan) allowed the participants to get a closer glams to the hosting countries beauty, traditions and history.
Some local visits with Armenian local institutions, such us Eghvard Environmental NGO, Martuni Arts School, the visit of the Vice Governor of the Province of Martuni, etc. made a bigger impact on local community and on the participants, allowing us to get closer and recognize the importance of the Youth Work done by the NGOs and local authorities.
The project partners had the chance also to present their own culture and traditions. Five were the evenings dedicated to the exposure of the in the gastronomic and cultural habit of all 13 partners of the project.
A week of memories, joy and quality interaction between partners, Ngo representatives, local Authorities and NGos, visits, well set activities and meetings allow the international partner get beck to their counties with a higher wish to start European new quality collaborations.
