The Youth Exchange It-s Time for Mediate, is a project organised by Young Travelers that has the main topic of integration of refugees and minorities. The Youth Exchange is funded by the Erasmus+ program, and it will be developed between the 03rd to 10th of May of 2023.

Immigration is a social problem caused by socio-economic conditions and the lack of job opportunities. In the Valencian Community it is a problem that has increased in recent years. Immigration, mostly illegal, brings with it other equally serious problems such as problems of adaptation and integration, increased labour competition, new pockets of  poverty, increased discrimination and xenophobia and lower wages due to increased competition. In order to raise awareness among the European public and to take action, we have ideated the project “It’s Time for Mediate”.

The activities are always arranged in a non-formal learning perspective, participatory methodologies that enable participants to learn in a practical and reflective way.

The importance of sharing information and education among participants of different realities and scenarios, as well as the exchange of experiences among the partner associations should be mentioned. The project will take place during 8 days in the community of Valencia.
